Latest update on unbundling in the UK
Friday 01 December 2006 12:21:31 by Andrew Ferguson

Another month goes by and we see the growth of unbundled lines in the UK increasing to over 1,100,000. The full report from the Office of Telecommunications Adjudicator is located here.

The update covers one of the hot topics currently, which is migration between providers. We should be hearing what the new rules for broadband providers will be with regards to migration in December 2006. The expectation is that the changes will come into effect in February 2007, a document entitled 'Adoption of a common end user migration guide' can be downloaded from here.
