Wi-Fi to come to the Heathrow Express in 2007
Wednesday 08 November 2006 10:40:00 by Andrew Ferguson

The Heathrow Express service between Paddington and Heathrow is to have a Wi-Fi service working on the trains in early 2007. The plan by T-Mobile will mean speeds of up to 8Mbps will be delivered to the train by a mixture of WiMAX and HSDPA technology and distributed to passengers via Wi-Fi. The journey itself is only 15 minutes, and rates start at £5 for 60 minutes of access, but the pass will work at 200 other T-Mobile hotspots across London.
