Friday 03 March 2006 16:55:00 by Andrew Ferguson

A short news item to let people who have their broadband connection via one of the BT Retail ADSL product options, know about the companies plans for the Max products.

Existing BT Retail customers will have the option of electing to upgrade to the Max up to 8Mbps service from 4th April 2006, with the regrade being free subject a new 12 month contract. The actual service will not cost any extra, and will retain the same usage levels as the existing products. As April approaches and more of the exchanges are flagged as supporting the Max Products we expect more information to appear on the BT website.

With the expected launch of BT's next generation TV product slated for Autumn 2006, having a much faster connection will become more attractive.
