New planning regulations in Wales
Wednesday 01 February 2006 17:09:00 by Andrew Ferguson

Planning regulations for households can be a pain at times. In Wales the planning regulations have being revised to allow two antennas to be installed. Previously the limit was just one, for more planning permission was needed. This move should allow people to have one satellite dish for Sky, and another for a broadband service. Alternatively it may an antenna for a wireless broadband service as the second device. More details on PublicTechnology.net.

One warning, this does not mean people can suddenly erect any size dish, there are still size and location restrictions in place, so do check with your local planning department before adding that extra large dish.
