Be secure funding of £24.5 million
Wednesday 25 January 2006 09:59:00 by Andrew Ferguson

Be announced on Monday that it has secured £24,500,000 of funding, which will be used to commence a national roll-out of its ADSL2+ service. Be is currently available on 52 exchanges in the London area, and these new funds should see more exchanges enabled in London, and expansion into areas such as Manchester and Birmingham. The aim is to cover close to half the UK population by the end of 2006.

For a full listing of the current 52 exchanges that are supplying the Be service see this post on our forums.
