Linksys ADSL2MUE ADSL/ADSL2+ Ethernet modem reviewed
Wednesday 14 December 2005 16:44:00 by Andrew Ferguson

Continuing with our hardware reviews we have published our review of the Linksys ADSL2MUE ADSL Ethernet modem. The ADSL2MUE as its name implies is compatible with ADSL/ADSL2 and ADSL2+ services, the packaging claiming support for speeds up to 25Mbps.

We have previously used the Linksys ADSL2MUE as the Ethernet modem when reviewing the ZyXEL Prestige 334WT wireless router.

Other hardware we are reviewing:

  1. Solwise PL-85PE 85Mbps Ethernet HomePlug Adapter
  2. SAR 600E, ADSL 2/2+ Ethernet Bridge/Router
  3. Netgear DG834GT 108Mbps Wireless Modem/router
  4. Billion BiPac 7402 ADSL VPN Firewall Router
  5. SAR-600EW ADSL2/2+ Wireless LAN 802.11g 4 Port Ethernet Router
  6. Linksys HG200, wireless ADSL gateway, as sold in Tesco's

The link to the ZyXEL works OK, but the one to "review" for the Linksys 3MUE fails

The article on "Wireless in the Home" and the link to the Solwise PL85PE are interesting - Powerline connections seem increasingly promising though expensive.
However I have a P-B Net2Plug pair and can't work out how this should connect - I have few problems with my Wireless Belkin one (except that using the Belkin utility does NOT work).
