UK Broadband 55.7% of Internet Connections
Wednesday 19 October 2005 10:22:00 by Andrew Ferguson

The Office of National Statistics is churning out its monthly updates, and for more detail visit PublicTechnology.net. It seems the percentage of broadband connections has risen from 54.3% in July 2005, to 55.7% in August 2005. Also that in the 12 months prior to August 2005, the overall number of Internet subscriptions in the UK rose by 4.7%.

This rise in broadband is becoming more evident, a year ago TV advertising for broadband connections seemed rare, but now there is hardly a show that does not have one of the large providers advertising.
