EFHBroadband.com has announced that in addition to its range of up to 8Mbps ADSL products, it will be offering up to 24Mbps using ADSL2+ during October 2005.
The ADSL2+ (up to 24Mbps sync speed) will be offered via the existing LLUStream agreement EFHBroadband have with EasyNet. While many people will not see 20Mbps or faster speeds out of ADSL2+, for those on the 8Mbps LLU products already the chances of much faster speeds is pretty high. We expect similar announcements from other broadband suppliers who use the LLUStream service from EasyNet.
In other news, we have noticed that the SpeedTouch.co.uk website, mentions that ADSL2+ Annex M trials are underway. The Annex M is a variant that offers the potential for up to 2Mbps in the upstream direction.
