The Access Network Frequency Plan (ANFP) Issue 3 is not the most interesting read for most people, unless you are into that sort of thing, but it does control what services companies can provide across the BT access network in the UK. The ANFP is maintained by The Network Interoperability Consultative Committee (NICC), and issue 3 can be found here.
Until issue 3 of the ANFP was released, deployment of ADSL2+ services was only possible under trial conditions. This release in August/September 2005 has unleashed the rush by providers to be the first to hit various marketing milestones for ADSL2+ services.
