While we hardly expect to see the figures drop at this time, it is an indication of the rapid growth of broadband that it formed 52.4% of all Internet connections in June 2005, versus 50.7% the month before. More details in the PDF document on the National Statistics website.
Hopefully one of the bodies charged with compiling all these statistics will eventually do a break down based around the types of broadband access, e.g. metered, capped usage and unmetered. Though there will be some difficulty as some providers do not operate fixed caps, with the product hovering between capped and unmetered.
