Waitrose who has been offering ADSL services for some time, has now launched its 2Mbps service at £18.99 for a 5GB allowance. Extra allowance costs £2 per GB.

The service comes with a free ADSL modem, and free connection, the contract is monthly, but if you leave within the first 12 months there is an £80 charge. Users migrating onto the Waitrose service can get up to three months free service. More details on the Waitrose website. Existing Waitrose customers can upgrade to the 2Mbps service if their line will support it for £25, but if you have being with the ISP for longer than 12 months this upgrade will be free.

Waitrose is fairly unique in that in any profits made from its ISP operation will be donated to charity. Waitrose are also one of the few service providers to offer a support line which is free to call and open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
