PlusNet, now 113,084 broadband users
Tuesday 26 July 2005 14:17:00 by Andrew Ferguson

The Register has got some numbers out of PlusNet in relation to the growth in the number of ADSL customers it has. In June 2004, PlusNet 67,383 broadband customers, this has now risen to 113,084.

In the same period operating profits have risen from £1.4 million to £2.2 million. Given the increases in speeds of ADSL service delivered in the last 12 months, along with an overall reduction in the costs of services, to see the profits rise by this amount is some achievement. Though some of the product announcements and changes in the last 12 months have not always proved popular with sections of the providers customer base.
