Zen to offer dedicated support for Apple Mac users
Friday 15 July 2005 17:43:00 by Andrew Ferguson

Zen Internet are to launch a dedicated Apple Support Team on 1st August 2005. This should improve the level of support given to users of Internet connections sold by Zen if they are using an Apple computer.

While many of the issues with connecting to ADSL are similar between Apple operating systems and MS Windows, the lack of clear instruction with a lot of hardware can confuse consumers. Zen by offering support for Mac OS X, Panther and OS X 10.4 (Tiger) and limited support for the older versions such as OS 9 and OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) should prove attractive to Apple users.

"Zen Internet has always been recognised as providing first-rate technical support for Apple Mac users. According to a keynote address by Apple's CEO Steve Job at the Worldwide Developers Conference, the marketplace is now expanding at three times the rate of the PC market, and so we have decided to offer more dedicated support,"

We are constantly looking to improve our existing high standards of service for business and home-user customers. We want all of our customers to have access to first-rate technical support, regardless of the OS they choose to use. Our dedicated Apple Mac Support Team is now in place to help new and old users of this OS make the most of their Internet services on this platform."

Phil Long, Technical Support Manager, Zen Internet
