Alcatel kit to be used by Be Unlimited

Alcatel has issued a press release announcing that BE Unlimited are to be the first operator in the UK to deploy the Alcatel 7302 Intelligent Services Access Manager (ISAM), which supports the ADSL2+ standard. This will bring about the promised up to 24Mbps broadband speeds.

Be are also going to be using other Alcatel kit in their deployment, i.e. Alcatel 7450 Ethernet Service Switch, the Alcatel 7750 Service Router, and the Alcatel 5620 Service Aware Manager.

The Alcatel 7302 is at the heart of what should be a triple play service, eventually offering customers, broadband Internet, TV and telephone services. Some more information on how Alcatel see IPTV and the triple play services unfolding can be seen at
