Namesco Ltd acquires NDO
Tuesday 21 June 2005 19:53:00 by Andrew Ferguson

NDO who are perhaps best known in these circles for their ADSL provision, have been acquired by Namesco Limited. Further details of the acquisition can be found on

NDO was formed in 1995, and was originally called NetDirect. Existing customers of NDO will be pleased to hear that service will continue as usual. The acquisition appears to be a move by Namesco to acquire expertise in the provision of ADSL and broadband services.

"Following our other recent acquisitions, this one stands out, as it gives us a ten fold increase in the number of active ADSL accounts we manage, which we have recognised, for some time, as a growth area with huge potential. Now we have our own specialised ADSL and Connectivity Network, we are now not only a true ISP, but one that can now both enhance and reinforce the Internet services offered to both businesses and consumers."

Kevin Savage, Chief Executive of Namesco Limited
