It seems that a day does not go by without a service provider launching a calls bundle, or a phone provider launching a broadband service. Pipex are the latest ISP to offer its customers a CPS package. This will allow Pipex broadband customers to have a single bill for their telephone calls and broadband service. The basic line rental bill will remain with BT.
The package is called Pipex Talk and will cost £4.99 and is expected to be available in July. Customers can pre-register for the service from Monday 20th June 2005. The monthly fee includes up to 3,000 minutes of free calls to local and national numbers that start 01 and 02. Low cost rates are also offered for calls to mobile and international destinations.
The website for the service is fairly sparse at present, but will be updated closer to the full launch date, watch www.pipex.net/pipextalklaunch for more details.
