BT has published its financial results for the last quarter, and the last financial year. They show facts such as a reduction in net debt of £639 million, leaving £7,786 million owed. The biggest shift is the continued growth in the number of broadband (ADSL) users, BT Wholesale now have over 5 million connections, growing by 825,000 connections in the last quarter. This level of growth is a new high for a quarter, and reflects both the continued enabling of exchanges, plus the shift from dial-up to broadband connections.
