Gio Internet has announced it has ceased accepting new customers as of today. It has issued a press release stating that existing customers will continue to receive service until the end of their billing period (whichever is earlier), or until they can arrange to find a new service provider.
Any customers are advised to call 0870 922 4000 if they have any questions.
Gio also used this opportunity to advertise for an ISP interested in taking over Gio Internet's customer base asking them to contact Hauka (www.hauka.com)
The company which has recently been subject to an Ofcom investigation for failing to subscribe to an Alternative Dispute Resolution service has also pursued its former customers over debts a large number of which have been disputed. We still believe that Outsourced Credit Management Ltd. (OCM) is pursuing some customers.
