Mesh Broadband ceases trading
Saturday 16 April 2005 02:44:00 by John Hunt

The Register is reporting that Mesh Broadband has ceased trading. A message on their phones reports that; "At the moment support is being transferred to another company. As a result of this exercise, the network is currently unsupported." This does leave some hope for its customers that someone else will take over the business and continue to provide it.

Mesh Broadband received funding from Bedfordshire County Council in the form of an EEDA (East of England Development Agency) grant for their BoB, Bedfordshire on Broadband, project. Mesh Broadband were a sub-contractor of C&W and as such the county council are in talks with C&W to resolve the fate of the project.
