Monday 28 February 2005 11:40:00 by Andrew Ferguson

In a move designed to increase take-up of ADSL and therefore broadband throughout Hampshire. The HampshireBroadband.org site is offering incentives of up to £20 for consumers from BT Retail. A separate £50 business grant for businesses who sign up to an ADSL service is also available to qualifying applicants from Hampshire County Council. Details of the residential offer can be found here, with the business grant details here.

The HampshireBroadband site also has details of various Broadband Advice clinics in Hampshire, which may be a good way for small businesses to obtain advice on broadband issues.

Update 28th February 2005: To reflect the fact that the business grant is not supplied by BT Retail
