BT reveals plans to increase ADSL speeds to 8Mbps

BT Wholesale has announced plans to trial upping the speeds on lines capable of 2Mbps, to speeds between 2Mbps and 8Mbps. Additionally 2005 will see initial trials of ADSL2+ to offer speeds of up to 18Mbps.
