BT Retail with Broadband for students offers
Wednesday 13 October 2004 12:25:00 by Andrew Ferguson

Term for most students has started, which also means its the time of year for all the 'fresher' offers. BT Retail is offering Broadband for Students, which is the usual BT package, but with a 9 month long contract, £24.99 per month and free modem and connection. The package carries the standard BT Retail usage allowance of 15GB per month.

To qualify you will need your NUS number, and will receive £15 of Sainsbury vouchers once you order the service. Orders are being accepted until 30th November 2004, with a deadline for connection of 31st December 2004.

Of course there are other ISPs that offer short contracts ideal for students, but many still require you to pay the activation fee. BT published the details of the offer to its ServiceView website on 30th September, but this is the first we've seen of it.
