We have received several emails from people having problems obtaining Migration Authorisation Numbers or ordering regrades in the last few days. Therefore if you are having a problem obtaining a MAC number at this time, and the ISP says they are having delays it is entirely likely this is correct.
The problem revolves around the BT Wholesale eCo system. It is currently believed that the problem should be fully resolved by Thursday morning. In the meantime service providers do have the option of emailing regrades and migrations to BT Wholesale, but with the amount of regrades and new orders occurring this week, any manual system is likely to be swamped.
