BTOW First ISP to do Mac?
Tuesday 20 February 2001 13:43:00 by Sebastien Lahtinen

BT Openworld claim to be the first ISP to launch MAC drivers for the Alcatel Speedtouch USB modem that is used for the 'residential' flavour of ADSL in the UK. This happened in only a matter of hours after the announcement by BT Ignite of the availability of the software which has been undergoing testing for the past couple of weeks. BTOW has been running its own test and jumped at the opportunity to be first with the new drivers.

The press release.
