Plusnet reduces ADSL hardware costs
Monday 23 August 2004 14:10:00 by Andrew Ferguson

Plusnet is making the cost of getting online with one of their services slightly cheaper. They have reduced the price of some of the hardware options.

Hardware

New Price

Saving

BT Voyager 105 USB modem £34.99 £10
Binatone ADSL 300 PCI modem £34.99 £0
Solwise SAR-130 1-port modem/router £49.99 £20
Binatone ADSL 2100 4-port router £59.99 £20

Obviously other hardware will still work on a PlusNet ADSL connection, but buying direct from the ISP may result in savings, but should also make support on the hardware much easier. It is also worth looking around the various hardware sites to see what offers they currently have.
