ISPA to meet with Ofcom over price rises
Thursday 19 August 2004 16:09:00 by Andrew Ferguson

The number of voices raising dissent at the recently announced price rises on the BT IPStream Office and IPStream S ADSL products continues to increase. ZDNet is reporting that Ofcom and the ISPA (Internet Service Providers Association) are set to meet to discuss the issue this Friday.

There are questions been asked by providers about the speed at which BT Wholesale is planning to implement the increases, and also of the calculations that form the basis of the Margin Squeeze Test (MST). The MST is what appears to have triggered the price rises.
