Glasgow receives Intelligent Community award

BBC News Online had the news that Glasgow has won an award in the Intelligent Community Awards 2004, run by the ICF think tank, based in New York.

The award is not based solely around the ability to deploy broadband technologies in an area but also about what use it is put to, and how access is given to the wider community. For more information on how Glasgow got the award see here.
