Wireless provider sees interest in its registration scheme
Thursday 01 April 2004 16:53:00 by Andrew Ferguson

IAP Broadband (Internet Access Point) launched a registration scheme on March 22nd 2004 for its broadband wireless service. The aim of the scheme is to allow IAP to determine which areas are interested in the service.

So far IAP has had over forty areas show interest in the scheme, which hopefully will see areas gaining broadband once they reach the required 150 registrations.

Visit the IAP website for more details. The scheme is obviously in direct competition with BTs ADSL registration scheme, but if IAP can deploy their systems ahead of BT and other a reasonable quality of service then the odds of remaining viable are much higher.
