Kingston Communications has announced that it will be rolling out its ADSL broadband service to 13 East Yorkshire villages. The villages should have a service sometime around March 2004.
People in the areas of Sproatley, Little Weighton, Skirlaugh, Leven, Gilberdyke, Burstwick, Cherry Burton, South Cave, Market Weighton, Keyingham, Newport, Leconfield and Tickton are set to benefit from this move.
The news is welcome for the people in these areas. Kingston Communications has had a fairly static ADSL showing for some time, as the figures in Oftel/Ofcom updates have listed 10,000 users for a long time. Perhaps this new roll-out reflects a fresh start in 2004.
