Torpoints BT exchange which triggered in July 2003, currently has the distinction of waiting the longest for its RFS date. Fortunately it seems progress has been made and BT has received all the wayleave clearances it requires to lay the undersea cable between Devonport and Torpoint.
A cable laying ship is hopefully due to actually lay the cable next week, though of course weather and tides will play a factor in this. Once the RFS date is confirmed we will let every one know. It is hoped at this time that the Torpoint exchange will have ADSL up and running by the end of March 2004.
