Another thirty exchanges now have an RFS date from BT Wholesale. These much shorter list than was announced on the 3rd February does little to clear the backlog. The question many campaigners are now asking is, will this backlog ever get cleared? Also will the Torpoint exchange that reached its trigger level in July 2003 ever get an RFS date?
Looking at numbers of exchanges at the various stages of being enabled, we have 2,307 exchanges with BT Wholesale ADSL services available, a further 466 being built, and 298 exchanges which have triggered. This leaves 1926 exchanges plodding towards their trigger level, and a further 526 exchanges that do not have a trigger level.
