BT launch The Internet Green X Code
Tuesday 10 February 2004 16:40:00 by Andrew Ferguson

BT has launched The Internet Green X Code. The code is designed to make children stop and think about the way they use the Internet, so they can use if safely. This is just like the original Green X code that many years ago was drummed into children to ensure they could cross roads safely.

The code is endorsed by the Home Office and will be distributed to parents and children via schools and charities. If you would like to download it, a copy is available in PDF format from here. The application needed to view this document format is Adobe Reader, which can be downloaded from here if you do not already have a copy installed.

The Green X code is part of the fun stuff section in the Education area of BTs website www.bt.com/education/funstuff
