The BTIgnite exchange checker is to be updated to return more reliable information. I quote spin049
which states the changes
to be made:
"The telephone number check will now require that the associated BT telephone account number be also entered in addition to the End Users' telephone number.
Based on the specific telephone number an estimate will be calculated on the length of the copper access network between the End Users' home/office and their serving exchange. It will also detect
the presence of underlying technical factors that may prevent ADSL service being delivered. This will allow the checker to give a more accurate indication of the likelihood of receiving service at
a location based on telephone number details." [john]
