Real users of Powerline broadband found
Wednesday 04 February 2004 22:39:00 by Andrew Ferguson

The Independents website has some details on the sort of speeds users in the Winchester Powerline broadband trial are getting.

They manage to talk with several users of the service, and find out that while the government subsidies for the trial are coming to an end, the service will remain running on a commercial basis. The hopes are that the Winchester service which is currently running from 60 sub-stations will attract 1000 users.
