Solwise adds more models to its router range
Saturday 24 January 2004 15:09:00 by Andrew Ferguson

Solwise is now offering a 4-port ADSL modem/router the SAR-804P that has built in HomePlug/Powerline networking for £86.99 (including VAT). Powerline networking allows you to network computers using the mains electrical wiring in the house, and therefore avoids the problems of heavily constructed or steel reinforced floors. We reviewed a pair of Phonex Powerline bridges back in July 2003.

Also the price of networking computers using ADSL is falling as fast as ever, a Conexant chip based router the SAR-BIG304TA which is a 4-port ADSL modem router, costs just £39.99 and an 802.11b wireless version is available for just £68.15 (pricing includes VAT).
