February 2004: Broadband Edge Conference

REMINDER - The actnow Partnership, the European funded project set up to accelerate the growth of broadband in Cornwall is hosting a two-day conference beginning 5th February 2004 to promote broadband partnerships and explain how they work best. The conference includes speeches by Pierre Danon (Chief Executive, BT Retail) and Stephen Timms MP (E-Commerce Minister) during the first day. The second day offers delegates a chance to talk one-to-one with actnow and local businesses in the area.

It is primarily aimed at County/District Council staff responsible for economic development, UK Objective One status regions or regions seeking Objective One status, Regional Development Agencies, Parliamentary ICT/e-commerce groups and companies which provide products, services and technologies targeting rural areas.
