NTL Wireless pilot running in Milton Keynes
Friday 31 October 2003 11:25:00 by Andrew Ferguson

Milton Keynes is now the proud location of a NTL Wireless pilot using the 10GHz hardware made by Ogier Electronics.

The Broadband for Milton Keynes website has a picture of the first antenna that they have spotted and a link to a test webserver located at the actual base station.

If the pilot proves a success then it should at last provide broadband coverage to a large section of Milton Keynes which to date has had a very patchy coverage from ADSL. Unfortunately the coverage even with this wireless base station is not 100%.
