Invisible Networks goes into liquidation
Sunday 05 October 2003 13:02:00 by Andrew Ferguson

Invisible Networks, one of the companies that has been involved in a number of schemes to bring wireless broadband to areas of the UK has unfortunately had to place itself into 'Creditor's Voluntary Liquidation'. The full statement from the company can be seen here.

Apparently Invisible Networks did attempt to find a buyer during the last few weeks, but as of 3rd October, the last remaining interested party confirmed they would not be bidding. The communities that do have service will within a short period of time be getting their network connectivity switched off, lets hope that some of these areas can negotiate alternate connections.
