BT to trial a combined Broadband and PSTN provision scheme
Wednesday 21 May 2003 00:08:00 by Andrew Ferguson

BT Wholesale is due to run a pilot scheme starting in July 2003 that will enable service providers to order both a voice phone and ADSL line at the same time, on the behalf of their customers.

Very little precise detail is available at present, hopefully once the pilot commences more information will be provided. We hope that the pilot will allow the customer to avoid the 12 month minimum contract normally present on a voice (PSTN) line if it is unable to support ADSL.
