The regular Tuesday update is here again. This week there are 25 exchanges on the list, with dates spreading from 30th July to 8th October. The exchanges with October dates are the result of the use of subtending technology, which since this is not available until July, delays the build date for those exchanges. Subtending refers to the ability to to link exchanges together for the purposes of provisioning the backhaul bandwidth for the ADSL connections.
This extended delay for some exchanges is unfortunate, but at least they have a date for when ADSL should be available.
