BT has announced a scheme that is intended to provide recognition for people across the UK who have made the most innovative use of broadband ADSL. The Broadband Britain Challenges intention is to route out those people and businesses that are doing the most to inspire others in their use of ADSL, and act as a way of getting recognition for people nationally.
The scheme should also help to drive the public awareness of what ADSL can be used for, by acting as a showcase for the various uses ADSL can be put to. Almost anyone can apply, the challenge has several categories, education, voluntary sector, public sector, small businesses, corporations, home users and youth. In addition teams of people will be looking around the UK for people/schemes that are making outstanding use of ADSL.
Entries can be made online, or by post by requesting an entry form from Broadband Britain Challenge, 50 Buttesland Street, London, N1 6BY.
